Same here preordered 2 and my sons going to be 3 he wants the gto red.  Im stoked ti sit back with friends and play games I know they will enjoy.  Especially cornhole

It's impressive that as the face and voice of this whole project that you still take the time to answer the simple to the very ridiculous and everything in between.  

 

I've never seen that in any job I've had, company I've worked for or tech support I've dealt with.  Usually canned answers, and quick brush offs to get you off the phone or end the email.  Some of the auto places I deal with like Mancini Racing, Summit and Crutchfield are very good...but you... You're on a whole different level of customer support.  When the hell do you sleep??

 

Thanks for supporting your product and being so open to field all the good and bad that comes with it.  Even the occasional a-hole troll that shows up with a less than desirable array of BS needs to know and respect that.

 

Regardless of what the Amico turns out to be for me as a gamer ... I'm happy knowing I will own something  and support someone that finally gave a shit about what they were producing.

Could it be possible ...  🤔 ( I can't use "Wouldn't that be something", that's the trademark for Tommy 😉 lol ) that your channel become the official channel for Intellivision Entertainment for everything related to Amico !?

I have an idea for a future Amico game.  I’d like to see a Gran Prix racing game (similar in style to MarioKart).  It could feature exotic locations - one example: a Transylvania Gran Prix featuring a mountainous layout where the cars drive through Scenic Transylvania, including Dracula’s castle, and you have to watch out for werewolves and angry torch-bearing villagers.  There’d be a selection of drivers both good (Tom Goodwrench with a glint coming from his perfect teeth) or bad (dastardly Dirty Harry).  There would be a selection of cars ranging from wacky racers to late 50’s, 60’s or 70’s Gran Prix cars.  The race would start by having the drivers line up. And using the touch screen on the Amico controller in a swiping motion you would “run” to your vehicle. Other gestures could open the door, start the engine, etc.  Dracula could Start the race and make announcements during the race.  Each player could accumulate points to be used for modifications on their cars.

Maybe someone could come up with another fantasy exotic location/scenario.

I think Tommy should utilize OEB in some capacity to be the official channel of the Intellivision Amico. Pete is a great promoter and positive influence that it only makes sense.

OK guys I have a question and an inspiration:

 

Q - Do/Will the Amico controllers have rumble? 

 

Inspiration - So I always make it a point to check the board games at Target when I shop there as they have cool, indie games.  Earlier this year I saw a game that involved each player having cards and being on teams. There was some coded language (wink,wink, look up, etc) that they communicated to each as to keep it secret from the other players in other teams. I can't remember for the life of me the name of the game, but I think this idea would be an incredible game for Amico. The cards and communication could be through the Amico controller and instead of just a chat between players they could get code for how to verbally relay messages to the other players secretly. Just a thought that I wanted to spread to the Amico peeps/creators.

When you set up your Amico the first time, you will give it a name. The controller remembers the name of the Amico it belongs to, so you can look at the controller menu and it will tell you.
