@Tommy Tallarico heres a game in development you might want to pick up. Dont know rating they aiming for but has potential to work within e10+

Its from masked republic,  they are California based.  One of owners is Kevin Klienrock. Its a ckmpany that started a way for Mexican luchadores to sell officially licensed  merch ( luchadores. Lost out for years due to lots of unlicensd bootleg stuff sold by outsiders over years)

But they are working on a 2d beat em up

Which will feature luchdores and ancient aztec culture.

https://www.levelup.com/noticias/642640/Project-Mask-sera-un-beat-em-up-mexicano-con-estrellas-de-la-lucha-libre?fbclid=IwAR0HckOoI4AuCqEJCMNgYhKlo7KM84Mtc8GrsaIiqFFxm92EvkYYd__NLTA

This could be a cool game with plenty of crossover  appeal from wrestling  fans in general.....lucha libre fans whom are in

some cases separate  audience.... kids from all ages to adults.... even movie ans with all the various clasdic lucha libre film crossovers.

I can only imagine the cool physical media related merch for this.

I met kevin before.. hes a family guy. cool people at masked republic

Heres his public facebook page

Tommy,

I know this was brought up before.  But will there be an online subscription for Amico at some point in the future?  Would it be similar to how Nintendo does it with Switch, where you pay per month or for the year and have access to the original games?  I think it would be cool to have an online membership on Amico and be able to play all the old Intellivision games & Imagic games too.  It's okay if there doesn't end up being something like this.  I remember you saying that the online stuff wasn't the focus for Amico.  But it would be neat to see if it worked or not.

Wonder what options there will be for single player biplanes. 1 vs 1 computer, 1 vs 2 or 3 computer, 1 + computer vs 2 computer. According to some YouTube coverage of the German Amazon descriptions, sounds like there are several play modes.
Looking forward to learning more…

As I recall, the original games are coming at a later date which I am looking forward to as well as a potential online down the road.

Right.  He did say that the original games would be available.  But I think he meant for the eshop.  Not sure if you can buy all the original games digitally on Amico.  That's why it would be neat to have an online membership where you can have access to the whole library of old INTV games.  And throw in the Imagic library as a bonus.  Anyway, we shall see what happens.  I hope that something can be worked out for the online experience with Amico.

This game looks and sounds cool. Hopefully it can come to the Amico or something similar.

Tons of mass appeal. And cool thing wrestlers will promote merch they have or projects  on live wrestling events around the world. As well as social media which many have followings and or are gamers themselves

This below is from the developers  facebook page. The premise sounds  awesome

(¡We are very excited to present our new project, codenamed Project Mask!

Be welcomed to this journey with this letter from the developers👩‍💻👨‍💻

“The Legend of the Mask tells the story of an unknown warrior who is chosen by an ancient Aztec Mask to inherit his powers and become the strongest warrior the world has ever seen. Guide a humble taxi driver, and fulfill the ancient prophecy of turning him into the Legend of the Mask. "

Project Mask is a video game developed in Mexico by BC Media Lab (www.bcmedialab.com), in collaboration with Gamacon (www.gamacon.mx), Hyperkinetic Studios (www.hyperkineticstudios.com), and Masked Republic (www.maskedrepublic.com); where through Mexican Lucha Libre, we show the world how rich our country is, promoting its culture, history, tourist places, indigenous peoples, traditions and customs.

The game will feature a selection of renowned Mexican wrestlers who are represented by Masked Republic's Legends of Lucha Libre division, the player's association of the icons, legends and current superstars of the sport.  Among those they represent are Konnan, Psychosis, Rush, Dragon Lee, Penta Zero M, Rey Fenix, Solar, Super Astro, Lady Maravilla, Keyra, Christi Jaynes, Laredo Kid and Black Taurus along with the estates of Perro Aguayo, Hijo del Perro Aguayo and Super Porky.

Mexico is a great country and everyone on the team loves it. We have a rich cultural heritage, with stories worth telling; stories of heroes, romances, villains and betrayals.

Project Mask was born from the need to tell the world a small part of those stories, of who we are and where we come from. Legends about our heroes, Mexican luchadores, our Aztec and Mayan warriors, and various indigenous groups that have been part of our history.

"We invite you to be part of our world."

Our video game focuses on self-discovery and spiritual, emotional, psychological and physical balance. A story where brotherhood, our roots and traditions play an important role. Where redemption is earned through our actions, and only through the transformation of our hearts and minds do we gain the power to transform the world.

During their adventures, our heroes will travel through landscapes and locations of ancient Mexico and contemporary Mexico, such as Pátzcuaro Lake and the Monarch butterfly forest in Michoacán, Laguna Salada and La Rumorosa in Baja California, Chichen Itzá and Tulum in the Yucatan Peninsula.

Project Mask is a 2D side-scrolling beat 'em up game with role-playing and cooperative elements for up to 4 players. Featuring unique combat mechanics that combine the elegant yet brutal art of Lucha Libre with 2D beat 'em up action.

And can be easily done without any blood... luchadores wear colorful masks

The physical  media and merch like wrestling masks and tshirts and so on would be super cool. Intellivision  could partner with masked republic on the merch stuff.  Great cross promotion potential. Tommy has said they want licenses that can have reach  and promote amico.. this is such a project.

Plus its 4 player co op

We currently have 8 different game modes, though we may cut one or two out as a few are somewhat similar.  Will probably keep them though as they are already finished.

Yes.  There will be a lot of product videos between now and the end of the year.  We have a lot of other things the entire team is focusing on... but you should start to see a bunch of gameplay videos coming by late September.

Make sure to subscribe to our Mailing List and YouTube channel as well.

Hey Tommy - just trying to get an update on the gameplay videos coming by late September. There's just a couple days left in the month - I'm sure there are a bunch of folks interested in this. Please let us know if this is still on track. Thanks!

Yes, I too would like an update on this.

Working on a family trailer and Boomers event video.  About 10 in depth gameplay videos (with people's reactions to the games) cued up after that.

Excellent news. Will the first of these be posted within September, or are should we be looking at October/November?
