redsteakraw
What games should have AtariVox voice hacks and what should they say? Would you want have Keystone Kapers say: I am going to get you? Would You want tips and ET catchphrases to ET? Would you want taunts and expletives to be had in Outlaw? Would you want menacing voices and taunts from the Boss in Yars' Revenge? Post what games you would think would be beneficial to have AtariVox voice support and what lines you would want to hear. Pioneer4x4
As for Keystone Kapers "Take That" as you weild billy club to the head, and a playful sound as you jump over something, maybe an "AHHH" as a plane gives you a haircut, and a "COME ON!" waiting for elevator. But what I would love is Starpath games updated.Speaking out "The Mindmaster has declared you to be Awesome!" (or quaint, and all the other options) And Phasor Patrol "Sheilds Engaged" when flipping the switch for the shields!
scrummy
I don't like it when the games play phrases like that. “To gild refined gold, to paint the lily…”
NinjaFlicker
Let's hear some actual grunts of pain when attacks connect in Double Dragon. Sure, it won't even come close to anything good. But everyone who's ever played that game for more than 15 seconds knows that the AI is set to Skynet, unless you spam the elbow attack. Fighting a bunch of slightly annoyed robots can only enhance the experience. I'd also like to see it used for a port of Space Channel 5, both because the small but fully voiced command set is perfectly suited to the hardware's limitations, and because it'd be such a terrifying misuse of the technology that any form of criticism ceases to be relevant. Sgt Jack V
Maybe you can put in those unused sounds from Donkey Kong into one of the Homebrews: https://tcrf.net/Donkey_Kong_(Arcade)#Unused_Sounds
