Fierodoug5
Looking to purchase new Drive and counter belts for a 1010 Cassette Drive, Japan Model(orange sticker). I live in the US. Any leads would be helpful, want to make sure I get the right ones. The old one is a square belt(whats left of it). Thanx Doug

Fred_M
Just buy a mixed lot of rubber belts on Aliexpress for 1 or 2 dollars. In those lots are many differents sizes which can be used for almost any type of data recorder. It is the cheapest option by far! Fierodoug5
Is there one small enough for the counter belt in those sets?
manterola
I also did the same: I got a cheap chinese set of belt on eBay. Then I tried to fit the best one. I don't think it is going to last for the next 25 years, but for know is working great. not sure about the counter belt, I kept the original one
Gunstar
I recently purchased one for my 1010, from this seller below, he carries both flat and square belts, both referred too as Hong-Kong 1010 belts,n two versions (Chelco), I didn't look to see if they carry belts for the Japanese 1010 (Sanyo) drive belt or versions for the counter or not, I only ordered the drive belt for Chelco model with the square belt, which is what I have, as the counter belt still seems fine to me. http://www.ebaystores.com/dataserveretrocomputers
Fred_M
Is there one small enough for the counter belt in those sets? In the sets I purchased there were belts small enough to use as the counter belt.

Fred_M
I sell replacement bands for the Japanese 1010, but as I said earlier, these are the same bands which are sold on Aliexpress https://www.rewindgames.com/Atari-shop/Atari_spareparts/replacement_belts_atari_1010_japan_new I bet all sellers sell bands they have bought on Aliexpress Edited March 3, 2019 by Fred_M
