Serguei2 #1 Posted March 11, 2019 I went to mobygames I found something familiar: Parker Brothers James Bond 007 ad https://www.mobygames.com/game/james-bond-007_/promo/promoImageId,470855/ looks like Activision Keystone Kapers II prototype http://atariage.com/forums/topic/281377-keystone-kapers-ii-found/. At the end, James Bond 007 is more closer to moon patrol than this actual screenshot. is there a story behind two games?
Arenafoot #2 Posted March 12, 2019 Dan Kitchen might be able to shed some light on this..................
+Cafeman #3 Posted March 12, 2019 Thats interesting and I remember seeing that ad BITD. My theory is that common ideas often occur at the same time, for example A Bugs Life and Antz films.
+Psionic #4 Posted March 14, 2019 I thought of that as soon as I saw KK II also, but I would say it's just a coincidence. The version of James Bond that took place on a train was supposedly in development at Western Technologies but they were way behind in completing it, so Parker contracted another company (On-Time Software) to develop the version that ended up being released. classicgamesnut #5 Posted March 16, 2019 Not trying to distract from the topic, but the first software company was behind schedule, so Parker Bros went with "On-Time Software!" That's too funny!

I'm pretty sure the name was an in-joke specifically based on this incident.
