Omega-TI
I looked into the new "Plato Term" for the TI later than I should have. Being busy with so many other things and making an assumption that anything Plato was for kids in an education setting, I did not give it the attention it deserved. Boy was I wrong! This is like a TI BBS on STEROIDS! It has lots of fun and entertaining goodies. So... if you have a TIPI hooked to your TI-99/4A check it out, you'll be glad you did. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nwm8TaMqFrA
tschak909
Thank you, so much, for testing! One thing to really push forward, PLATO has a development environment built into the system, virtually everything you see on the system was produced by users of the system, using a BASIC like language called TUTOR.. All of it. Part of the long term coolness of the system will literally be what others do with making new stuff for every single retrocomputing user to enjoy, no matter the platform (this is why I have been pushing so hard at making terminals) -Thom
Tursi
It's nice to see a longer demo of it. The text draw is surprisingly quick for how much work it's doing!
tschak909
especially considering, it's plotting...one...dot...at....a...time.... -Thom
jrhodes
Omega, i see you are running a f18a? Will this work ok on a system without a f18a? The wait for my TiPi is driving me batty, can not wait to try all of this stuff out for myself.
