Mock #1 Posted June 20, 2003 I finally found one of the label variants...have been looking around for a while...anyone else have trouble finding a clean copy of this? For a rarity 5 it was not so easy to find.... Mock
Stein #2 Posted June 20, 2003 still looking for a good one myself... I've bought two loose ones, both of the pics looked far better than the actual carts have silver labels seem harder to tell the quality by just a pic. at this point I'd probably pay quite a bit if I saw a NIB. MattyXB #3 Posted June 20, 2003 Someone will talk about Raiders of the Lost Ark? I am the right guy for that. See my Raiders of the Lost Ark Collection HERE Yes, the Lable variation RAIDERS LOST ARK is hard to find. So I have say in the past, that it must go higher in the rarity guide and it has work. But maybe 5 is not high enough. At the bottom from my site you see now, what I missing from Raiders of the Lost Ark. The standart releases I miss these: (NTSC) Solution (NTSC Bold Letters) Box, Instruction & Solution (NTSC 1986) Box, Instruction (maybe black/white) & Solution And from the Lable Variation with the Bold Letters I need maybe a better version. The Post has scratch the lable and it look now very bad.
DeV0 #4 Posted June 20, 2003 Maybe MattyXB will agree? But getting a standard silver with a P is hard enough, probably above 2. Never seen one on ebay and i own one bought 21 years ago. The lable variation would be like Gold here.
MattyXB #5 Posted June 20, 2003 Yes, the PAL version is too hard to find. I have search it for years, till I found one. And Years later I found finally a complete PAL version. But I have not often see it on eBay. Maybe on eBay.de you found some more, but last time as I looked, I have found only 1 copy and this was NTSC. Now I own too a complete French PAL Version (Or maybe this is SECAM or how it was called in France). The Box is still shrinkwrapped. And it has a french sticker on the box. But the PAL version is a bit rarerer then the NTSC Version I think. And I think most common NTSC games are harder to find as PAL releases. And Rare NTSC games are easier to find as PAL versions. From some games I have not know at the beginning, that PAL versions exist. But someday I found a Kaboom! and this must be very Rare as PAL version, because most are NTSC versions on eBay.de too. Mock #6 Posted June 20, 2003 cool collection you have! I think the label variation should be about a 7...I was able to get a Xenophobe box in mint shape (7) before I found a Raiders variant (5)...I think it should go up. Mock
Stein #7 Posted June 20, 2003 oops, missed the "THE" in the subject thread, didn't realise you were talking about only that label variation that's what I get for reading at midnight
atari_sammysue #8 Posted November 21, 2003 What is the label variation worth?
CPUWIZ #9 Posted November 21, 2003 What is the label variation worth? $3.50 - $5.00 depending on condition.
sku_u #10 Posted November 21, 2003 I missed one sold individually on Ebay not too long ago. I believe it went for $5.65. I wouldn't pay more than $10 for something like this even though it's one of the last known silver/grey label variants I don't yet possess.
atari_sammysue #11 Posted November 21, 2003 I thought in the 10.00-15.00 range
CPUWIZ #12 Posted November 21, 2003 I tried selling one for 5 bucks before and nobody took it, so I doubt it's worth more than 5 bucks.
sku_u #13 Posted November 21, 2003 I tried selling one for 5 bucks before and nobody took it, so I doubt it's worth more than 5 bucks. I'll take it off your hands if you still have it

MegaManFan #15 Posted November 22, 2003 I tried selling one for 5 bucks before and nobody took it, so I doubt it's worth more than 5 bucks. Must not have been me then. I'd pay $5 for a Raiders Lost Ark.
CPUWIZ #16 Posted November 22, 2003 I'll keep both you guys and SpendTooMuchOnAtari in mind next time I get one.
Christophero Sly #17 Posted November 22, 2003 Here is the last one that sold on eBay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=3057251882 I had it on my watch list, and then forgot to snipe it. I think that the main label with its Marquee letters is more interesting than the contraction of the title on the end label.
CPUWIZ #18 Posted November 22, 2003 Like I said, 5 bucks. LOL
sku_u #19 Posted November 22, 2003 Here is the last one that sold on eBay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=3057251882 I had it on my watch list, and then forgot to snipe it. I think that the main label with its Marquee letters is more interesting than the contraction of the title on the end label. That was the one I missed as well. It would have gone higher had I remembered to snipe it.
