negative1
Whoops. Correction on Pac-man and Pac 'n Pal, not Galaga. Galaga and galaxian will also be coming out eventually. later -
wolfy62
I couldn't find anything about what size these actually are,and it says they are 2 games in 1. I wonder what the second game is on the Space Invaders machine?

I wonder what the second game is on the Space Invaders machine? Would make too much sense for it to be Space Invaders II/Deluxe, so you know it can't be that. It's simply Space Invaders, but in color. 2 games my ass! This thing should be a 3-in-1, with SI Deluxe and Lunar Rescue. Now that would be cool. Flojomojo
wake me when they bring out some games that could really benefit from arcade-style controls, which I can't play on a dozen other cheaper, more portable platforms

mr_me
I saw another photo where the countercade dig dug has both left and right buttons. -------- Space invaders should really have the colour filters and background image. negative1
The countercades are listed at home depots site, under 'tastemakers': https://www.homedepot.com/s/tastemakers?NCNI-5 They have them for release at the same dates as gamestop, however, gamestop has pushed back the dates on Dig Dug, and Centipede to 5/22 Home Depot has them listed as earlier release. later -1 Edited April 19, 2019 by negative1

negative1
They can use the 2-player button as the second action button. i highly doubt they will do that, i also think that no one at the company played the game, or knows how to play it. they are on the left side, which makes it unplayable for me also. later -1 Edited April 19, 2019 by negative1

Home Depot exclusives now? Probably a misprint, but who would pull Elevator Action out of thin air like that? Wishful thinking by somebody who also feels or thought Space Invaders color is a poor choice for a second game? haha
mr_me
Well, what else would you choose from Taito, e.g. Jungle Hunt, Qix. I can't say I've played much Elevator Action but the left handed controls would be a problem.
+save2600
Well, what else would you choose from Taito, e.g. Jungle Hunt, Qix. Unless they plan on selling dedicated cabinets, the patently obvious choice would have been Space Invaders Deluxe or Lunar Rescue. Though someone thought combining Space Invaders (1978) with Qix (1981) and calling them a "Silver Anniversary" edition was a good idea. Granted, I don't know many Taito titles except for the biggest ones. later -
