FDOS
A few years back I scored an off-brand "Coby" TV set, that I use at Fest Wests, but mostly for testing purposes and occasional streaming with a Chromecast. It has nearly everything onboard, HDMI, VGA, Composite, S-Video, RF and even a separate PC audio in when using the VGA plug (like with an F18A). << Specifications >> Here's a view of all the on-board connectors Here's a view of it at the last Fest West The sound is actually pretty good. If you ever come across one on the used market, I'd suggest snatching it up if it's in good shape with a decent price. Yes, I agree as I have a 14" Coby with all those inputs. The only problem is viewing from different angles (left/right, up/down), straight on is the best view, PERIOD. I bought it new, so I don't remember the price.
patrickmcmichael
Remote allows for 4:3 to 16:9 at a button press! Composite here at 16:9 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro That's not bad for composite with 16:9 stretch...I just ordered one of these to tide me over until the F18A MK2 is available. I will try it direct composite and with my composite to HDMI powered adapter. It ain't F18A but the display limitations won't be magnified so much as they were on my 65" 4K OLED. Those built-in speakers should be good enough for TI use too. Edited March 27, 2019 by patrickmcmichael
+FarmerPotato
best monitor for retro stuff.. samsung 910mp.. does rf, composite, vga, SCART (15khz RGB) and svideo.. AND its 4:3 ratio Greg Can anyone verify that the Samsung 910mp works with PAL output , or if there is more than one version of the 910mp? We have someone bringing a Spectrum ZX81 to Midwest Gaming classic and I think that might be our only PAL monitor in the 80s row. AND its 4:3 ratio Greg I've noticed Google search results for Samsung 910mp come up with hits on Dell UW042. Is that just google silliness, or is this dell model actually the same as a Samsun 910mp?
