I've recently looked into the Atari 8-bit and tried to make sense of some of the graphic modes, and I love it very much! ? I have an 130XE on the way to me from the UK and a Sio2SD from lotharek. Two of my favorite (new) games for the computer is Laura and Crownland, both made by Polish guys if I remember correctly. I saw there's a Rick Dangerous port in the works too, hope they'll be able to finish it. *Yes as in I hope I will reach an Atari 8-bit version at some point. Some game for this fantastic computer is a must. How could I have missed POKEY music before? I do remember loving the music in Yoomp way back when that came out.
