It certainly gets challenging and I still didnt see a repeated level. Level 20 seems to be the very last level, and then previous levels start repeating. I don't know if the levels are chosen at random, or if there's a set order, but I definitely didn't start over at Level 1. I got one of the more difficult levels and died on it. I think that's fair to say (Pitfall II is really good, though, especially on the 5200 with the secret second level!). Even though H.E.R.O. is quite a challenge on the 5200 with the original controllers, I'm really impressed with everything they put into the game.
