But this truly is rare! I've never seen an auction for a 1050 and that specific joystick (box included!) and likely never will again! Once in a lifetime! Literally! You totally should "Buy It Now"!!!!!!!!!

I repurposed a dead drive case, and chips from several spare/partially-working parts machines, but had to buy the UAV, the U1MB, the S2 wavetable synth module, and all the rest of the hardware, plus all my own time and effort to build it, and just dropped another >$50 for the custom-machined aluminum front panel.

I actually paid almost that for mine new in 1984. $450.

 

My parents picked it up for me while in Sydney, and they scammed them into getting an Infocomm sampler disk which they said I'd like but in reality probably booted up once ever.

And no, didn't get a controller with it either.

The seller is sure someone into that kind of stuff will shell out for this 1050 and know how to get a game going on it in no time.

After all, it does say "ATARI" on it.

 

I may have put more thought into it just now that the seller ever did. At least he listed it as make offer.

There is no mention of a power supply or SIO cable. Nor has it apparently been tested in any way.
