I just got a Commodore 64 with just about all the games. Can anyone recommend which are the best games? Some of your favorites? Thanks!!

As for retail, Mayhem in Monster Land

I never owned a C64 back in the day. I have two now donated by friends but the units are not in working order. Not even sure where to start troubleshooting. So I decided to get an Ultimate64 elite on pre-order. Enough of that (Getting back on topic). 2 games I recall playing at friends houses were The Goonies and The Castles of Dr. Creep if you're into to those kinds of puzzle solving adventure type platformers. On that note, The Castles of Dr Creep is now available on STEAM. And yes, still very difficult but playing it at least weekly to see if I can finally complete the game.
