Nick99
After searching among my diskettes I have not been able to find any sprite editor specifically for the Geneve or TI-99/4A with V9938 card to meet it´s specifications. Has someone made one, and can it be downloaded?
+Ksarul
I don't think I've ever seen one that was designed to support 9938 graphics, although Magellan may have some capability there.
+InsaneMultitasker
You might want to play around with TinySprite. Choose project type MSX2. Remember, the 16x16 sprite is made up of four 8x8 patterns so if you have multi-color sprites, you could end up defining multiple sprite patterns (via multiple masks) with the color attributes per sprite. If you fill each of the four quadrants with one color, then export, you'll see the mask and attributes in their simplest form. Add colors and the program will define multiple masks/attributes to correspond to multiple sprites/patterns. Sprite mode 2 allows you one color per 8-pixel row so the complexity will increase based on how many colors you have per line, per 8x8 pattern http://msx.jannone.org/tinysprite/tinysprite.html# Edit: IIRC, GM7 sprite colors are fixed i.e.,not tied to the palette registers.
