Polish.Gasoline Posted May 14, 2019 Share Posted May 14, 2019 I have a light sixer and it won't turn on. The voltage regulator got fried. I'm just curious how to fix this on the pcb. It got burnt after I used a crappy soldering iron trying to attach an led. Yes, if there is any way to remedy this let me know. Also what would be a good guide for making my own composite mod? I wouldn't mind making one similar to best electronics. Personally, I would go for the MC7805ACTG, although it has the lowest current capabilities of the three (still twice what you need) that means it also has the best regulation and ripple rejection for a smoother supply voltage.
