I'm leaning more towards some sort of sync adjustment that might need a tiny bit of tweaking. Also look up how to check the B+ on a Sanyo 20-EZ as that really needs to be dialed in to a specific voltage and over time that will drift as well. I've seen similar when that needed to be adjusted.
