INTVCruise #1 Posted May 23, 2019 Hello, I ran across a supposedly blank digital data pak with an H type file titled, "FILER-DB", but I can't get it to load using SmartBasic's RUN or BRUN command. I was wondering if someone could tell me how to view the file or run it, or if it's just a lost cause. Thanks!
NIAD #2 Posted May 23, 2019 This is a database file probably created by one of the Coleco 'Filer programs and probably SmartFiler. It's possible that the file was created by another 3rd Party database program, but hard to know for sure. Anyway, 99.999% sure it's nothing relevant and you can just INIT the data pack in SmartBasic to write a fresh directory to it.
jblenkle #3 Posted May 23, 2019 I believe that tape has been initialized as a database tape for SmartFiler or possibly RecipeFiler. jblenkle #4 Posted May 23, 2019 Darn you Jim...I went off to load SmartFiler and try to create a DB disk to see what was on it and you beat me to posting!!!
