Intrepid #1 Posted June 25, 2003 I recently purchased a 36" Wega and have no use for my old TV. I don't want to just throw away my old one, but it has a problem with it and it's not worth the effort for me to fix it. The TV is a 27" Sony Trinitron from the early 90's. Black cabinet and in good cosmetic shape. The problem with it is the tuner has gone bad, and channels come and go as they please. I've been told it would cost about $80 to have it fixed. The positive is the composite A/V hookup is still good. You can use it for either a game system or to hook up a VCR to run cable through. Perhaps you are working on a game room and don't need coax, or have any possible use for this TV. I don't want to just junk it, and I wouldn't feel right selling it as it's not fully functioning. TV comes with 2 remotes. 1 original remote, and a Sony brand VCR remote that also controls the TV. I have that VCR as well if you want it, but it doesn't play tapes anymore. Might be able to use it to run the cable through, however. I'm not sure. I live in Latrobe, PA which is 30 miles east of Pittsburgh. I'm obviously not shipping this item through the mail. I'd prefer you come pick it up, but I'm willing to drive a reasonable distance to meet you if you toss in some games (commons, rares, I don't really care. Just trying to make the drive worthwhile) If anybody is interested, let me know either in the thread or PM. If not I'll have to find somewhere to dump it. Hydian #2 Posted June 25, 2003 I'm interested in it. It'd probably work out well for me actually as I have a PC with an ATI all in wonder card that can feed into it (I don't watch TV anyway...just DVD's and playing games.)
