Elvis
Ok I bought Blade Runner. Years ago with my first computer. So I'm now going to try to play it on my gaming computer. Anyone everowned and played the game? It is old. I have not played it in years. Edited June 9, 2019 by Elvis
Flojomojo
I think I have this someplace ...as is often the case with me, I never got around to playing it, and it's hard to get it going in a modern PC environment (and hasn't been redone). Give us a review as you get into it!

Elvis
It will not run on current Windows.
DragonGrafx-16
It will not run on current Windows. Not if it's a 16bit Windows application and you're running a 64bit system.

+wongojack
I got it running on XP not too long ago. I think it is 16-bit, so you'll need a 32-bit OS to run it (if true). If you don't have an extra computer then you can use VirtualPC which I believe is included with Windows 10. I used .ISO files and a CD Drive emulator called WinCDEmu, but I just had a Win XP machine sitting around to test.
Cepp
As per Flojomojo's link you can install it on x64 Windows so long as you use the replacement installer. It probably works quite well in PCEmu now as well. It's still an amazing game Elvis and well worth playing today. Elvis
How do you run it in Windows 10?
Flojomojo
Looks like it works with SCUMMVM now!!!!! https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2019/06/17/westwoods-wonderful-blade-runner-is-becoming-playable-again/ 2
+-^CrossBow^-
I haven't tested it in ScummVM but I was able to use the modified installer to get it installed and working just fine in my Windows 10 64bit. Although it was a year or so when I installed it and I haven't tried to play it recently so for all I know a windows update or 5 could have broken it but it was working. Loafer
Slightly off topic but if you like these types of games, try out Rise of the Dragon (Dynamix). Fantastic Blade Runner / cyberpunk style adventure game.
Flojomojo
Agreed, not really the same style of game (and much earlier) but still tons of fun. Six bucks on GOG. https://www.gog.com/game/rise_of_the_dragon
SegaSnatcher
One of my favorite games of all time. I used the 64 bit installer with great success. Truly one of the most underrated Point & Click adventure games.
