Atari 2600 KidVid Tape Deck (only used to test all the tapes & games, purchased

from an audio equipement dealer as "new old stock" a couple months ago).

Comes with Smurfs Save The Day Cartridge & All 3 original tapes in their original cases.

Greedy tape was actually NOS as well, I opened it myself.

KidVid to Atari cable was hand made by me from new audio cords and an Atari brand joystick cord.

I dare say the cord I made is of higher quality than the one that Coleco sold with it back in the day.

Also comes with a power supply & detachable USB style cord which powers the KidVid perfectly so you

don't need to use batteries. The unit has been tested using batteries as well though, and works flawlessly.

Cheers,

Shawn

What do the barrel power jack mods do?  Does that mean you can’t use the original power plugs?

Yes, but it also means you can use just about any universal power supply that comes with barrel tips.

I'd be all over these if they had S-video mods.  Even without that, they look like fine systems.  Good luck with the sale!

On the 7800 you can use either the original proprietary jack or the new barrel jack. BOTH work, it's users choice which one they plug in for power. I've shown that in the pictures. I'm sorry if that wasn't clear.

On the 2600, there is only one option which is the new barrel jack. Much more convenient than the crusty headphone jack style of old.

On the 7800 you can use either the original or a new barrel jack. Sorry if I didn't make that clear. I've shown

the work in the pictures as well as both an original "blue tip" power supply and a new barrel jack one. I take

it for granted sometimes that I know what is going on here but forget others might not understand. Sorry

for any confusion.

The 2600 only has one power input option which is the new barrel jack style.

Picked up the modded 7800 from the Post Office this weekend and am not disappointed.  The mod is done with professional quality and precision.  I have been having a great time playing a bunch of my 2600 titles while I locate my 7800 controllers, and it is fantastic!
