DuggerVideoGames
Ah. I suck at this game (and Bump 'n Jump). Now I wish I would have practiced it since the last time we played this. Last time we played, I had a paltry 38k on skill 2 (and it took me many tries to even get that). Curious to see if Skill 1 is any easier on me... DuggerVideoGames
I still suck at this game. 43,740 pts. Had over 19k when I beat the first level and it took a long time for the gate to open on the 2nd level; despite having several lives remaining, I still failed to finish the 2nd level (so close, though!).
jblenkle
Looping - 228,085 I find this game much easier to play on real hardware with a real Coleco joystick. I think the relative stiffness of the control knob makes it easier to steer. I've tried it with my Amiga PowerStick and I'm all over the place. And in emulation...same thing... jblenkle
I get really nervous playing this game for some reason. I think because there are too many precise turns in it and you really have to concentrate 100% of the time to avoid crashing.

I use the stock controller for Looping and Space Panic.

S.BAZ
18,560 good grief, this new format blows! I do like that i can drag n drop attachments though. I'm having a hilariously disastrous time at Looping. Not much gaming time unfortunately so i jus have to have fun with my awful pilot skills... jblenkle
Looping - 268,610 OK, I am just wondering how many of you use tricks in the game to score more points? Like circling the pipes multiple times. It actually states on Page 7 in the instruction manual that you can do that and I consider it a high risk manuever so it's not like you are sitting in one place blowing things up to get more points like you can do in some games. My previous score of 228,085 was gained that way. But I became concerned if this was legal because I achieved it by Flight #11 and TPR's 247,075 best in this HSC was achieved on Flight #18. But now I've scored 268,610 on Flight #12 without doing it. I've posed the question to NCG if this is a legal strategy, especially since it is mentioned in the instruction manual. You can also fly faster through the pipe section to get more points, but it's also easier to lose control and crash when doing both of these.
jblenkle
Looping - 292,240 I've been playing this for about six straight hours...finally figured out the best angle to enter the END box with the balls which helped a lot. I'll take another shot at it tomorrow before the deadline.

As I recall people playing the arcade machine employed that strategy as well.
