Apple adds support for xbox and ps4 controllers

Yup. It already works in the ios13 beta for iPhone, iPad, appleTV. A few years ago, when appletv showed so much promise but little delivery, I wished they would have done this. I didn’t think they actually would. It’s a no-brainer solution. No need to buy a single-purpose steelseries when the superior Sony and Microsoft controllers are everywhere. 

Now all we need are more controller games. There are a lot already, but there could be more.

Hmm given the vast amount of PS3 controllers I'm a little surprised that's not mentioned as added, but it is as said kind of late now to do what could have helped years ago.  It's not like apple is peddling a line of controllers so it wasn't like there was going to be self damaging competition there.

And they’re allowing local streaming apps, which work acceptably well (but not amazingly well) in my experience. PS4 and Steam streaming are available now and I would think the Xbox equivalent is only a matter of time.
