Mega 65

So the Mega 65 finally appears to be getting closer to completion:

Anyone interesting in picking up one of these? I've been following along for a few years and are certainly thinking of getting one - no prices set at this point.

I guess it depends on price. I dropped a pretty penny on the Ultimate 64 elite (preordered) so It's going to be hard to get yet another modernized c64. I suppose I'm open to the possibility depending on price and reviews..

I have a 64Reloaded MK2 and an Ultimate64. I am considering a THEC64 full-size. I would consider this just for the C65 mode as I kick myself to this day for not picking up a unit or two when The Grapevine Group was blowing them out.

     Heh, yeah, I tried to order from the Grapevine Group back in the day, but they were already out of the C65's.

Just following along with the recent blog posts. Going to have not only floppy and SD card (2) access but also 1541 compatibly via the built-in IEC port and cartridge support.

 

Really love the ability to use existing hardware. Hoping they/someone eventually adds Vic20 support to cover off the family.
