Regarding screen's version, I have a doubt. Perhaps release year should remain.

 For example

BRUCE LEE (C) 1984 DATASOFT SPRITES BY TIX

or

BRUCE LEE (C) DATASOFT 2019 SPRITES BY TIX

or

(C) 1984 DATASOFT - 2019 SPRITES BY TIX

or

BL (C) 1984 DATASOFT - 2019 SPRITES BY TIX

I have no objection with any of them..

maybe the last one is the most descriptive !

I completely agree.

With the new high kick, if the ninja is running towards you, you kick above his head. Still hit him though, but it looks weird IMHO.

Agree with philsan and TIX about the copyright notice.

Well, things take time. Be patient :)  Not sure though if the last screen glitch will be fixed. Nobody responded to my reports and I confirmed it's not there in the original. On the other hand, I think most people leave their joystick alone after the end boss is killed and there's only a very small window of time between the screen switch and when he starts jumping up and down, after which you cannot move anymore.

About the new name, it'll probably be something like Bruce Lee 2019 or 2k19 and/or append TIX sprites and/or append the name of the person that did the new title screen. Now if we could get Miker or Makary or Triace or the person who did all the NES conversions to do an improved soundtrack... :D

No official name for the game either? That's too bad.

Usually game's title doesn't change when only sprites and/or titlescreens are enhanced.

Therefore I add infos to my filenames.

For example

Filenames.PNG.c39126e93cc3ca9f0280190c42538ef5.PNG

My issue is taking these long file names and renaming them in 8.3 again for my MyIDE 2 HDD partitions and SDX. I usually try to abbreviate the game name and fit in and "ED" for just Enhanced eDition. When there are more than one enhanced version like above, I just choose the version I like best and forget the others.

DNKYKNGE.DAR

DNKYKJRE.DAR

HEROE.TIX

HEROE.MRF

JNGLHNTE.RYB

MRIOBRSE.MRF

MRIOBRSE.DAR

MNR2049E.MRF

but that's not going to fly on an AVG cart etc. because I think it parses the extender... going to have to give it a shot...

For daily operations, I don't have filenames limitations.

All my files are on PC, for Altirra and real Atari with SIO2PC-USB.

For standalone operations, AVGCart and SIO2SD have long filenames, but not long as my above filenames...

SDrives loader shows selected filename only with full lenght.

The best loader is @flashjazzcat SIDE2 one (it works on AVGCart too but you cannot download carts), with filenames bouncing left and right (and other cool features). Perhaps the only limitation of that loader is only about half part of the screen is used because of big "SIDE2" graphics and other SIDE2 features.

New flying kick on top of the fixed binary !

And with this I conclude my work on Bruce Lee's re-tweaking ;-)

On to the next thing !!

Bruce Lee (RC 11-new kick).xex 40.7 kB · 21 downloads

Is it just me or does this just look unfinished when in action?  The pointing of the foot.  Jump kick looked much better in the previous version.  Maybe make it thicker on this one too?

I made some subtle changes on the intro screen to adapt it a little bit to NTSC colors.

I forgot, and I'm a little ashamed, to mention that this screen was made almost 10 years ago by @MrFish (Cf. this topic). Thank you !

I think that concludes my (very small) participation in the great work of @TIX.
