Help identifying broken piece 1040 STf

Not sure what it is but might be why my keyboard doesn’t work. Any help is greatly appreciated.

See them on a dead game gear board too. Are they all usually compatible and can swap one in?

Can you work out where it came from on the keyboard? Or is it from the motherboard?

 

I would be a bit wary of swapping things out of other consoles without knowing the exact component values
