Do any Americans use an European/PAL version of 7800?

I wouldn't say Midnight Mutants is that easy to find. Neither Ninja Golf. But as you say, both easier to find in PAL than NTSC.

You also can't use a PAL 7800 in the US unless you have a multisystem TV, or mod the system with AV or S-video out and use it with a PVM or other monitor that can take 50 Hz PAL video. 

 

It's a shame.  I was working on continuing my box collection for games and found and won the PAL edition of Commando  (the box is identical to the NTSC version and the boxes are rare, regardless). Was hoping to have a backup cartridge for play but apparently not.
