digdugnate
despite a few things I really would like to see Nintendo improve upon, I think the sales are well-deserved. It's a fantastic console (not un-console) with a really good library of titles.
Tanooki
I'd have to kind of agree there with post 1 and 2. Yup it's popular, yes it's very well made for what they were shooting for and versatile too, but it doesn't come without a few things that could need improving too. Ultimately it's an excellent handheld with the double down capability to meddle with it on your TV too, the WiiU concept properly done both in intent and (unlike it) easy to code for and use popular engines on for conversions. I find it even more amusing the press is having a field day using Nintendo history as a cheap way to get clickbait hits using their own library of stuff. I remember one after another so far popping up on stories. It passed the crappy WiiU, it passed the Gamecube, the N64, now it's going to hit the SNES. Next should be I would think the NES, after that should be the 81M mark on the GBA line. I suppose the GBC would have been passed if they ever gave solid numbers but as it was a marginal GB upgrade it gets rolled up into a 120M (about) figure which is up there in Wii and DS territory. I'm not really sure where the 3DS/2DS line sits as the wiki stupidly has broken up the figures instead of keeping it together.
