Asteroids Vector question

In Asteroids Vector is the code of the game changed somehow besides the graphics? is it a harder gamer or is sit the exact same gameplay?

The original hack by Franklin only has the graphics changed. The DC hack by Thomas allows the asteroids to move with more horizontal "english" (so that would be a more difficult game). Scott's hack was made with a bit of help from Thomas, but I dunno if the gameply itself was changed at all in that one.

That brings up an interesting question...it was one of the first hacks to appear on the net (excluding pirate cartridges of course). Does anybody know if it was THE first 2600 user hack?

IIRC one of the Space Invaders hacks was the first one.
