Syncterm (conflicting opinions) - What do you think?

I recently had a recommendation for a website (not secure) with the url "syncterm.bbsdev.net".  I downloaded the Windows version to check it out before considering the Linux version.  Anyway after the download McAfee says okay, but Windows say's, "hold on a second buddy".

Any of you guys have an opinion?  "Go" or "No GO"?

Check it with virustotal.com, it's decent. It seems to like the URL but it's not clear to me if you downloaded software (it can scan zips off the web too).

Microsoft's checks tend to be a little paranoid, and will flag anything that doesn't have a lot of data. It doesn't mean it's bad, it simply doesn't know and you're configured to warn.

Thanks Tursi.  I appreciate that link and have saved it for future use and reference.
