It's really a wonderful sequel or hack of the original game with smooth controls.... But I think it's not appropriate for a High Score Contest. I haven't found a version without infinite lives but assuming the original code was simply patched out (e.g. STA $xxxx replaced by NOP NOP NOP or something similar), it might be possible to back patch without breaking rest of the hack.
