I think it looks nice but I think a miniature version doesn't make any sense.

I gives a very clear indication of what the gizmo will do and what it's for...

You intuitively know it.

 

a whole new case that looks like something else... no clue...

without anything written on it explaining what it is and does...

 

Mystery Box...

 

A cool new case with some hints could be done.

I've got one of his miniature 1050 cases.

 

I, too, think it's cool, but i also think that the disk engage lever should be in the closed, not open, position.  How can I be reading & writing to the "disk" with the drive open? 😀

I was going to make it moveable (no function just move) and put a full size SD card at the front in the disk slot for a limited edition version of the case with all the lights and switches on as well but I was beaten to it by the vintage computer center who made most of the mods I was going to make, so I didn't bother.
