I've got one of his miniature 1050 cases.

 

I, too, think it's cool, but i also think that the disk engage lever should be in the closed, not open, position.  How can I be reading & writing to the "disk" with the drive open? 😀

I was going to make it moveable (no function just move) and put a full size SD card at the front in the disk slot for a limited edition version of the case with all the lights and switches on as well but I was beaten to it by the vintage computer center who made most of the mods I was going to make, so I didn't bother.

I was wondering what happened to the SDrive-Max case STLs that were hosted on Thingiverse? These all seem to have vanished?

odd that they would disappear from thingverse as well... does thing verse not store them but rather link back to a persons own repository?

That is exactly what I want. But shipping to NZ is a pain right now, plus I have already built the SDrive-Max myself...and I have a 3D printer. So, would make sense to print one up myself.

@mrrobot is this a remix of one of your designs? If so, I'd be wondering why the derivative wasn't released?

It is. I did, we talked, it took a little while but the modified cases are now available from the product pages. Thank you @Gavin1968 for seeing the Open source light
