Type of Laser Sega CD Used?

Not that I really need this information. But, just in case the laser eye dies. I can find a replacement item. From what I can tell the unit used two cd units. A sony drive or a philips drive. I also know the unit is 1x. Just for reference I have the secound cd-rom drive. YOu know the one that has the flip lid and loads on the side instead of the bottom. I also read about a fuse and power adaptor problems. That is always a given on any dead unit.
