Giles N
Is it possible to complete the game despite glitches or no official release? What does it cost? Or how is it (re)produced (if no longer available?

Giles N
When it says 85% complete, does it mean there are glitches and lacks, or that you can get to 85% of the game lenght, but not finish the game? Anyone who knows?

Giles N
Playthroughs on YouTube shows the game can be completed. Any of you played it? Are the glitches of crashdetection or close-up-combat endurable or a does it kill the game-experience?

+Mitch
Klax appears to be complete. Though the music is lacking. Mitch

It really fits/suits the system well. Music isn’t that important in this game. I love the Arcade-version.
FroggoGamer
Once upon a time I saw a Missing In Action manual for the 7800 on eBay. I assumed it was fake knowing the title is only sold in Homebrew stores but did anyone make an actual manual of the game?
+groundtrooper
It would be a welcome addition to my cart and box to make it more complete. As complete as an unfinished prototype can be.
+Mitch
Yes, on the run of carts I sold a manual was included. Mitch

The sewer level is majorly screwed up, but I suppose with a lot of patience (and save states) you could get through it, but that one boss has no collision detection from what I remember. Maybe I missed something? EDIT: Ah, I assume you mean this playthrough? Looks like he had the same issues I did. So no, you can't complete the game without cheating. No, you’re right; some levels can’t be completed, but the player using the difficulty switches to skip levels wasn’t something I picked up on seeing through the video. Getting through the game is ONLY possible using the switches besides the joystick-ports to cycle-levels then start from. This must be the main reason its called only 85% finished. +GoldenWheels
I'm showing my programming naivete here I guess....people have patched Impossible Mission, why hasn't this game been 'fixed'?

sn8k
There is a more complete version of MIA somewhere. It is in Chuck Peavey's hands. Just doesnt know what disk its on and he needs to have the disks sent off to data recovery. I assume it costs good money to do something like that. Even still, I tried getting him to do it. Almost succeeded. I guess if enough people hunt him down asking for that version, he'll try to put it out there. The original version thats floating around now is an excellent game none the less. Glad I have it on cart.
