How and/or where, do I get hold of cartridge of Missing in Action (Chuck Norris licence) for the 7800?

Playthroughs on YouTube shows the game can be completed.

Really?  The sewer level is majorly screwed up, but I suppose with a lot of patience (and save states) you could get through it, but that one boss has no collision detection from what I remember.  Maybe I missed something?

EDIT: Ah, I assume you mean this playthrough?

Looks like he had the same issues I did.  So no, you can't complete the game without cheating.

When you get to the boss without collision detection you just skip to the next level to continue on to complete the game.

No, you’re right; some levels can’t be completed, but the player using the difficulty switches to skip levels wasn’t something I picked up on seeing through the video.

Getting through the game is ONLY possible using the switches besides the joystick-ports to cycle-levels then start from.

This must be the main reason its called only 85% finished.

Thanks.

It really fits/suits the system well.

Music isn’t that important in this game.

I love the Arcade-version.

No...but the SFX are off, and this does become an impediment to gameplay at the higher levels. The Lynx and 5200 ports show you how fundamental this feature is to the game.

There is a more complete version of MIA somewhere. It is in Chuck Peavey's hands. Just doesnt know what disk its on and he needs to have the disks sent off to data recovery. I assume it costs good money to do something like that.

Even still, I tried getting him to do it. Almost succeeded. I guess if enough people hunt him down asking for that version, he'll try to put it out  there. The original version thats floating around now is an excellent game none the less. Glad I have it on cart.
