tacrec #27 Posted October 15, 2019 (edited) The Killbotz jumped out to a 20-3 lead halfway through the second quarter, then the Armada scored 17 POINTS IN ABOUT TWO MINUTES to tie it 20-20 at the half, and led 26-20 at the end of the 3rd quarter. tacrec #28 Posted October 16, 2019 (edited) The Spartans jumped out to a 13-0 lead early in the 2nd quarter, then the Mutants went crazy with 23 straight points! The Spartans cut the lead to 23-20 near the end but ran out of time. Mutants stay undefeated with a 23-20 win! tacrec #31 Posted October 18, 2019 It's been an interesting first half of season 6! Let's get to it! Mutants For a team made of freaks, they sure have things under control. Undefeated in the first five games of the season, with an outstanding offense and one of the best defenses in the league. They have had a few close calls, however, their defense in the second half of games needs to stay tough. They're well on their way to their first network title since they were league champions in 2014. Beamriders They're another good team, their only loss of the first half was to the Mutants. Their defense is one of the best, but their offense needs work. They've scored 16 points or fewer in four games so far. Laser Sharks They struggled in their first two games giving up a total of 61 points, but since then they have tightened up the defense while staying solid offensively. With only two wins, they will need a big win streak to have a chance at the network title. Smash Another bad first half, offense can't really get it together while defense gives up too many points. Killbotz Only two words to describe this team: absolute disaster. After being back-to-back league champions, being winless this late in the season is totally unbelievable. Their offense is not terrible, but their defense is the worst in the league. Bombers They're one of the hottest teams in the league right now riding a four game win streak and only allowing 12 points or fewer during that streak. Their only loss was by 1 point. Their defense ranks first in the league but offense can use some improvement. They look to return to the league championship game for the first time since 2015. Spartans They blasted off winning their first three games, but have since been hit hard with two losses. Their offense is one of the best in the league, but their defense needs to stop giving up so many points. Armada They've been average so far, giving up the same amount of points as they have been scoring. Completely inconsistent too: they haven't been able to even win back-to-back games, and their games have ranged from close to blowouts. No telling where they'll end up. Deadly Dogs Another surprise this season is how bad this team has been. After getting to the league championship game last season, they've only managed to get one win so far this year. Their offense ranks last despite good scores in their last two games, and defense ranks next to last. Destroyers Very weak offensively, scoring 12 points or fewer in four of their five games so far. Defense is tightening up, not allowing a touchdown in their last three games. But holding their opponents to field goals is not enough if that's all their offense can do also. tacrec #33 Posted October 22, 2019 (edited) Great game today! The Armada came down on the Destroyers with a 17-0 lead after the first quarter. The Destroyers fought back to cut the lead to 17-10 at the half. Both teams battled in the 3rd, but the Armada extended the lead to 20-10. tacrec #34 Posted October 23, 2019 (edited) A tough defensive game all the way! The Mutants had a 12-3 lead at the half, only to give it up near the second half with a 15-15 tied game. The Sharks missed an easy FG to take the lead and the game ends in a tie! Mutants win streak ends at 5 but they are still undefeated.
