ACML
https://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Set-4-pens-for-plotter-Sharp-EA-850-Casio-BP-1-Atari-Canon-and-others/163711252327?hash=item261df37767:m:mvx6mTJnw5Gz-j3N3gxZoqg Saw this on eBay. Says they are new manufacture. I'd order from Best, but there is a good chance they will be dried up or 50-75% dried up. Does anyone have any experience with these and how are they holding up? The price is steep ($22) for a tube of four pens.
_The Doctor__
wow price is up and then add shipping! here, you can buy 10 packs like this sort of stuff and still come out ahead... https://www.ebay.com/itm/Commodore-1520-pens-for-plotter/113881412673?hash=item1a83dc7441:g:XCEAAOSwmLdddSK7 although in some thread or another I posted new manufacturers and their links... they were close to 20 but multi packs. Very suspicious.

Well I mean if you want to see them on a storefront you could go here https://www.casio880.com/en/product/new-set-4-pens-color-or-black-for-plotter-sharp-ea-850c-ea-852c-ea-850b-casio-bp-1-bp-2-canon-commodore-atari-and-others/ Looks like a Spanish Casio dealer, I would hazard these really are new. Bill Lange
These pens are still used in some industry equipment such as EKG machines and such. I've read somewhere (maybe on Paul Rickards' blog: http://biosrhythm.com/?p=1395) that they are still manufactured in Europe in small lots. Expensive, but fresh.

Those have TANDY(Radio Shack) packaging, I'm fairly certain those are vintage NOS just like the pens from Best. Radio Shack had their own 4-pen color plotter based on the same ALPS mechanism, the CGP-115, I have one given to me by my brother.
_The Doctor__
Yes, I consider the other machines commie, coco, and their peripherals/accessories parts for Atari stuff... it's also useful to get items that support such accessories and peripherals since many used the same supplies. Of course it's NOS (new old stock) just look at the picture :) but you can buy 10 to 20 packs for the price of 1 new pack when they pop up in quantity from time to time... some might not be up to par but it's almost always a big win to do so... still a major bargain.
