Because it takes time to collate all results - from the judges, from the poll, from social media. It was a huge task getting all the numbers finalised and a cut off had to be made somewhere. 😎

Applause at PRGE as the winner was announced! I got to play Growing Ties on an Android tablet emu at the show courtesy of the Argo project people...

Thanks to everyone who voted. I will not be taking votes that are outside of the poll time (the boundary needs to be set, sorry).

This is what the bonus points look like based on the poll. Whether or not this is indicative of the final points assigned to each entry is yet to be seen.

4TTude                         3*0 + 2*1 + 2        = 4
Assembloids                    3*6 + 2*11 + 6        = 46
Find a way to my heart        3*0 + 2*0 + 1        = 1
Growing Ties                3*9 + 2*5 + 8        = 45
Lynx Quest                    3*16 + 2*8 + 4        = 68
Nutmeg                        3*1 + 2*4 + 9        = 20
On Duty                        3*11 + 2*12 + 9        = 66
Sky Raider                    3*2 + 2*3 + 4        = 16
The Inside World            3*0 + 2*2 + 1        = 5
Undergrounders                3*1 + 2*0 + 1        = 4
YNXA                        3*4 + 2*4 + 5        = 25

More details of the scoring system are now available... https://atarigamer.com/pages/atari-lynx-30th-birthday-programming-competition#scoring

The social media aspect of the bonus points hasn't been calculated yet, but any more comments after today will not be counted.

Don't know if social media aspect had an impact, but in the end, the public vote changed the podium, so everything was very close.

Social media was a very minor impact. I was surprised how much sway the voting poll had!

I want to give Karri a big thanks for supporting On Duty in person. And Mark/Space and the Argo people for convincing me why comLynxed emulation will rock.  And, while I’m on the subject, I just wish the DJ had had the grace to announce the contest results, but I guess he was too busy with his nineties playlist...I mean, c’mon! It would have taken ten seconds.

Which brings me to some good news.

I GOT MY BAG BACK! Thanks to the amazing AtariAge member Kevin & Kim. They did some detective work, located my bag and brought me to the airport to collect it.

So now I finally got my 50's playlist to work on the stand.

Here is a picture of the last 2 hours of the show.

During that time I had a queue on the stand. A real catcher.

And it plays Assembloids \o/

Thanks mate!

Actually it plays ALL the competition entries. You can easily switch applications. But of course I was demonstrating the winning applications. At PRGE they announced only:

1st Lynx Quest
2nd Assembloids
3rd Growing ties

These were the games that were presented during Sunday as my point was to advance the competition entries. Few people had interest to try out more than 3 titles.

Any update as of the delivery of prizes?

I did send your choices and address to Igor on 30th of October. It depends on what the 3 first teams choose what you will get as a price for On Duty.

As you may know, I've been moving house and at the same time waiting for some of the prizes to arrive in the mail to me. I'll probably start sending them out next week. As it's been made clear to me from some of the contestants that my requests are low priority, there is little motivation to make requests coming to me top priority. 🤷‍♂️

Don't worry though, you will get your prizes! Just be patient with me. 😎

There is no hurry for the shipping, but I'd like to know if the pizes are all assigned, just to know what remains for my 6th place 😅

They are yep! I was wondering if I should send an email out or not, what do you think?

I am still waiting for 1 contestant to respond to my emails, but that will not change the prize assignments.

Thanks again for all your hard work!

I think it would be cool to have an email to know which prize we will get :)!

Did you get my answer ?

I know we have some mailing problems between France and Australia... And my answer is probably not very clear...
