I am for sure interested probably get multiple.

Good timing.  I now have all the parts to put together 15 kits and had only been waiting on a smoke extractor for use during all the soldering I'll be doing.  The smoke extractor arrived a few days ago so now I have no excuse but to get the kits together, which I'll do over the next few weeks.  Once they're ready for shipping I'll contact everyone on my pre-order list:

At long last, and over a year late, I've finally started production of 15 more kits.  It may not look like much yet, but that's 60 resistors soldered so far.

More progress.  30 ICs and 29 ceramic caps soldered to the PCBs.  Should have been 30 caps but I found I was stiffed one by Digikey and don't have a spare 😩

Progress continues.  15 potentiometers and 15 connectors soldered.  Tomorrow I'll get the electrolytic caps soldered and then the LEDs on Saturday.  Having to pace myself.  If I lean over working on stuff like this for too long in one go I get back problems.

And yet more progress.  30 electrolytic capacitors soldered.  Tomorrow the red LEDs and that will complete the PCBs (other than testing).

PCBs are now complete with 15 LEDs soldered and the flux residue cleaned off the boards.  The LEDs are actually a bit more time consuming to solder as the base of the LED has to be around 1mm above the PCB surface.  This is necessary to ensure that the LED is at the right height when the PCB is installed in a ColecoVision.  I use three small pieces of a cut up credit card style hotel key to hold the LED up by ~1mm and blu-tack to hold all the pieces and LED in position.  Solder, remove everything, then repeat for the next PCB.

Next up are the wire looms with the switch and the Molex connectors.  These are really quite time consuming to do as I have to cut each wire to the correct length, strip the ends and either add crimps for the Molex connectors or solder wires to the switch.  Repeat that 15 times in quick succession and my back would never recover.  Also I'm very busy next week so my plan is to work on this when I can over the next week with no specific objective in mind.  After next week I'll be able to dedicate a bit more time so things should progress more quickly then.  I'll keep posting updates here so you can at least see how things are going.

Note that PCB testing will be done once the wire looms are complete.

I'm hoping to make around one to two wiring/switch harnesses each day.  Just completed the third one so getting there......

Progress is delayed a bit at the moment.  Trying to come to terms with some recent bad news.

Managed to find some time to assemble two more harnesses - now five in total.  Just 10 more harnesses to do, then test all the kits and then I'll be ready to take your money 😁

Another productive day - 5 more wiring harnesses completed, so that's them all.  Now, I just need to do some light sanding on each of the nuts that hold the switches in place and then fully test each and every kit.  Hoping to have everything complete and all kits ready to sell by the end of the week.  I'll PM those on the pre-order list at that time.
