Weird angle, aspect looks a little skewed is all.

They could have superimposed the screenshot over a blank TV.  They used to do that for magazines all the time as it was difficult to take real screenshots with a CRT.

So, how many kids actually colored in a coloring book while 2 other kids play video games right next to him?

Not that uncommon actually.  I've seen kids doing two completely different activities like that before.

Wonder if we ever find the coloring book and the explanatory audio cassette?

It's weird that some Atari VCS stuff just can't be found, (let's say, nowadays) eg the Spy Hunter Dual Control Module, Eli's Ladder extra paperwork, Pole Position Grand Prix kit and wall chart....

Not weird at all, like most accessories that stuff generally got lost or thrown out.  This is especially true for stuff that isn't required to play the game and was just an extra thing.  We're talking about kids here, not collecting adults.

I one billion percent believe that the Vatican does have the Chronovisor- 60 year old tech that allows non-local events to be called up.

...so besides Campaign ‘84 for ColecoVision & Socks the Cat rocks the hill for SNES...can anyone think of any other “political” video games? (from the cartridge era only btw; any disc based media excluded here)

Missile Command was all about that cold war.

M.A.D. was also originally developed with an overt Cold War theme but was changed from "Mutual Assured Destruction" to "Missile Attack and Defense" before release.

Interesting!

AND

That's a weird TV

I have no idea what I thought was weird about that TV.  Looks totally normal to me now.
