+stupus
I brought my nos cib bit 90 computer to display at vcfmw 14. I also brought along a 2nd one i have that is loose and not working great. And i sent it home with my friend....the amazing Frank Palazzolo. He and his friend Evan quickly got it functional, and removed, dumped and resocketed the 3 system chips! Hopefully this can finally be added to mame! Some things i am curious about.... Could the unique basic it contains be made to run on a real colecovision? Could it be put on a cart and be made functional? Could a keyboard be hooked to the coleco...either by controller port or a special port added to a cart?!?! And be used with this unique basic?? Any of this would be really cool, and here are the roms for anbody to explore and see what can be done with them!!! And a couple flyers in here too. https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=1mHh4AAvvjiSLiGD2CdtdYxmdRsN8aEfA Enjoy!!!

+stupus
It was a computer made by the bit corporation. They made some unique games for the 2600 and colecovision as well as creating the gamate handheld. The bit 90 was compatible with the colecovision and contained its own unique version of basic. Its architecture is very similar to the sega sc-3000 as well.
Pixelboy
So who owns the Bit 90 computer in the picture? The box seems in pretty good shape, considering its age.
+stupus
That is mine that i displayed at vcfmw 14. It is brand new old stock. So its in amazing shape and looks and smells brand spankin new! The roms were dumped from another well used loose 1 i have had awhile. +stupus
I also have the memory expansion pack, its in that picture as well. I have never heard of another of these existing. It has the same pinout as the sgm/2600 adapter port. Assuming those would work on the bit 90 as well....but i have been a little worried to try them. NIAD
To answer one of your questions, a ColecoVision Keybaord Expansion Interface has been made and if I recall correctly, CollectorVision's Comic Bakery supports it. Here is the link: http://www.nyangau.org/cvkbd/cvkbd.htm
+stupus
Thanks Jim! Very interesting! Maybe it could be possible to have the bit basic functional on the colecovision!
