using TRLD to convert trs80 executables

Hi. Can some one help me use TRLD from the command prompt. Not sure about the proper syntax

Sure thing.  What did you want to do?

i want to convert .BAS to .CAS   and .CMD to .CAS

 

I put the .BAS and .CMD files in the same directory as TRLD but it keeps saying that it cant find the files

Hmmm, something like this should work:

trld file.cmd out.cas

I may need to see the exact command to see what's going wrong.

 

Be warned that ".bas" to ".cas" conversion is not likely to do what you want.  For details see: http://48k.ca/trld.html

My Model 1 only has a tape drive to load games.   I have an expansion interface but it's missing the 40pin cable so it's only being used as a monitor stand.   I load my. CAS files from an old PC using the program 'PLAYCAS'.    I was hoping to convert some. BAS into a format that can beloaded this way
