3D printed cases for CC-40 cartridges

Recommended Posts

With the development of cartridges for the CC-40, is there anyone with a 3D printer that could make available for a reasonable amount of money cases for the cartridges?

This could also come in handy for someone who has a busted cartridge case and wanted a replacement!

Shouldn't be too difficult if you know what you're doing with the printer, which I do not have nor have any experience with.

Just a thought.

Hence your comment that it's not difficult.. design one and I can print it

Hi, I'm not into Ti CC-40 computers and I don't have any carts for it, but if you send me one, I could try to design one. It's fun!

You can see my work in Atari 5200 section. I made Atari 5200 joystick coupler, Case for new joypad, coupler for Atari 7800, coupler for CX-40 joystick.

I can make CAD models as well. I would either need a CC-40 cart to reverse-engineer, or I would need a fully dimensional drawing of one. (Or a full set of measurements made with calipers.)

Yes, From experience, designing for 3D printing it's better to have the physical item and use calipers to get your dimensions.

Print a sample and adjust your measurements.
