European ebays raised fees

bad news for all members of the EU and their ebays.Since July 1. ebay has raised the fees because of taxes.

 

But they have raised more than the taxes - some options are now twice as expensive.

 

This is really bad , because you can´t sell your stuff for a higher price - because nobody buys overpriced stuff.

 

The new fees depend on the taxes of the country you live in.

 

Because of this I and I think many more ebay-sellers from Europe will offer stuff on ebay.com to avoid the fees.

 

Example : On ebay.de you now have to pay 0.45 Euro for articles with starting price 2-9 Euro and 0.10 Euro for "Buy it Now".

 

before that it was only 0.40/article and 0.05 Euro for "buy it now".

 

And 1 Euro is about $1.16.

 

This becomes too expensive now ...
