Local Store!

Recommended Posts

There's this used game store in my town called RePlay. Been in there before, and they didn't have much of a selection a few years ago. Went in there last nigh... WOW! They have just about EVERYTHING these days, including Dreamcast and 3D0! And a great selection of 2600 (they 52 and lynx selection could be better though)

Man it's an awesome store! They even had a pirate SNES console and games fror sale! Neat stuff!

Most of the used game places I've been to didn't carry very old stuff. I've never seen Atari anything in pawn shops or game stores. -_-

gotta love mom n pop stores

they are hit and miss sometimes, but theyre the only places that will have good deals, and are likely the only people you can negotiate with

Where!?  How are their prices?

It's in Bourbonnais, right on route 45, in the shopping plaza with Kroger. It's on the fatr northern sectioon of the Kankakee metro-plex

My half-brother, who lives in Tampa, told me that he and a friend of his found a great used video game place in Lakeland, FL that primarily specializes in 2600 through NES. Tons of stuff. Unfortunately, he's not into the classic video game stuff like I am (he's 20), but I am thinking about sending him my want list and 50 bucks and telling him to go wild...

What's the name of the place in Lakeland? Maybe I'll check it out and do some trades or something.

I wish I remembered. Actually I'm not sure HE remembered when he told me, but I'll ask him about it next time I talk to him.

There's a place downtown that has pretty good classic stuff 2600-prestent. Prices are a bit steep ($5 CAD) for every atari and coleco cartridge, but once I bought a 5 rarity for 5 dollars so I can't complain, and really, it ends up being cheaper than ebay. Their selection is dwindling, though, as they don't get much in the way of trade-ins.
