Foot Pedal replacement

My expansion module 2 didn't come with a foot pedal, so after a bit of research I made my own out of the following: 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I bought the 2m long cable from eBay (https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/264407819880) as well as the foot pedal (https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/264407819880) 

 

It works perfectly and I hope this post helps anyone out that doesn't have a pedal with their expansion module

I remember when I had the original back in '83 or so. Driving around that dam section in turbo was the coolest. The only competition at the time was either the 5200 version of Pole Position or possibly enduro if that was out yet and I don't believe it was. First rate stuff back in the day.

On a slight tangent: if you have the original Master Play for the 5200 that lets you use a 2600 joystick on the 5200, the EM2 foot pedal will work as the second plug-in button, since the originals have mostly lost the original pack-in button. Also, that plug in button never worked that well being Velcro strapped to the 2600 joystick.
