im looking for a tutorial to prepare a CF card for Atari Falcon

 

Im also ready to buy a CF card installed and ready on Atari falcon

Preparation consist from creating partitions on card and install autoboot driver .

The real thing to care is what CF card to buy. Not all will work well with Falcon because timing problems - Falcon is very old design, not really ready for new, very fast cards. Best is to go with Sandisk, and not some fast one - that just costs more, while Falcon's IDE port is slow for today card speeds.

And no sense to get larger than 16 GB because TOS partition count and size limitations.

There is no need to perform some install, just copy (unpack) prepared hard disk adaptation of game to some DIR on hard disk. That stays for most what is here: http://atari.8bitchip.info/fromhd2.php

In some rare case it needs to go in root of partition - then it is mentioned in supplied readme file.
