Spaceman Spiff Posted October 20, 2019 Share Posted October 20, 2019 Hi, I recently came across a 16k ram cartridge for the VIC-20 and wanted to try it out on my working VIC-20. As soon as I plugged the cartridge in and turned the computer on the screen went black. I took the cartridge out and turned the computer on (without) the cartridge and now it's just black screen. I opened the memory cart and saw that the first dip switch (left side) was set to #3 on rest off and the second dip switch (right side) was set to #4 on rest off. There is a little note inside the cartridge that said do not put both switches in the same position, which they are not. Any thoughts? Thanks for the support!
