I know this has probably a question that's been asked a dozen times, but is there a 5200 multi-cart?  I'm hoping to get a 5200 sometime in the near future and I was just wondering if anyone had made one?  Just about every other classic console has one.

Yes, it's called the "Atarimax".  It's an SD card based cartridge for the 5200.

YES please buy from Steve aka AtariMax directly, not the Wafer Madness.

I have one of the so-called "Wafer Madness" units and it works just fine.  Wording on a label makes no difference to it's operation.  It was currently available when I was ready to order, so there was no waiting time, they guy shipped it the same day.  I've been happy with my purchase ever since.

** EDIT **

I'm forced to ask.. is there a reason we should NOT buy from this guy?

You don’t want the one with the switches. It has a fixed amount of games and sooner or later the switches will fail.  I have it because I got a great deal on it and I dig the technology.  It’s a collectors piece, I don’t really use it.  The SD cart has turned the dip switch cart into a museum piece.

His forum presence is barely above that of a spammer, and is Atari Max even okay with him reselling their carts?

That's an understatement. Endless walls of text dribble set to font size 3000.

I believe it was confirmed at some point that Steve does sell these to him knowing he is just reselling them as "wafer" drives. He does the same with Steve's Coleco cart too. He also buys up SGM modules and resells those for a premium on ebay.

Yikes. Is the Harmony cart the cheapest of all mutlicarts? Sometimes it seems the multicarts are more expensive than some used consoles. Is the one with switches less expensive? Just asking.

There's also an out of print Atari Max USB flash cart, which works on most all games.  Might find one used cheaper.  The SD is great though, works with every cart every made (including Bounty Bob Strikes Back) and homebrew plus the tons of Atari 8-bit conversions.
