Wanted: PAL C64 help (Found/resolved)

I currently have a fully functional NTSC C64, which is great for most things. But, I am investigating the demo scene from Europe and obviously an NTSC machine does not cut it. I need either a conversion of what I have to PAL, or a PAL mainboard. I know what converting entails (obtaining the PAL VIC II chip, changing the oscillator, changing the jumper line) but I am just too involved in other business to hunt down the proper PAL VIC II chip and do this work.

So, I figured I'd ask if someone can either:

1. Mod my board to PAL (and has the necessary stuff to do it)

2. Sell me a PAL board (I don't care if the SID or PLA are not included)

3. Trade a good working PAL board for an NTSC board

Hope I get a reply on this ;)

I converted an NTSC C64c shortboard to PAL following this guys instructions. http://biosrhythm.com/?p=1420

It was quite simple, and I think would be less hassle than packing and shipping a board. I later bought short and long board PAL C64c from UK and Poland then reconverted my original C64c to NTSC. I have an extra 8565 VIC-II, but it's my spare :) I'd hate let go of it.... I think I do have a spare crystal I would send ya. No experience with breadbin conversions, but the PAL VICs for those (6569) seem a little pricier.

Ebay seems awash of MOS/CSG 8565 chips, around $20-50 shipped to US.
